Konea Mitra is born on January 07, 1984 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She started her modeling career from a younger age in the school itself. She has done many advertisements and had been to many beauty pageants.

Before taking her chance in the film industry she had featured in many music videos which include Stereo Nation’s Ishq, Aaj Ki Raat, Akh Teri, Channo by Jasbir Jassi. Her Bollywood debut was with a special song in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Road’.

She spiked to fame with the movie Musafir in 2004 by Sanjay Gupta. She became part of the list of talented beauties that are chosen for almost every role. She was seen in the song Khullam Khulla.
