Bheeshma is a 2020 Telugu language romantic comedy film written and directed by Venky Kudumula. The film is produced by Surya Devara Nagavamsi under the production company of Sitara Entertainments. The film stars Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film was scheduled to release theatrically on 21st February 2020.
Along with Nithiin as Bheeshma Prasadand Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, the film also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Anant Nag, Vennela Kishore, Satya, Rajiv Kanakala, Sampath Raj, Raghu Babu, Bramhaji and Naresh with the supporting roles. The Principal Photography of the film was started in June 2019. The film was announced on Nithiin’s birthday by Rashmika Mandanna on social media platforms.
The music of the film was composed by Mahati Swara Sagar. The Cinematography by Sai Sriram and Edited by Navin Nooli. Video Promo Songs like Singles Anthem and Whattey Beauty were released earlier before 2 weeks which have a good response. Literally, the songs which were released earlier before release had promoted the film.
“Singles Anthem” and “Sara Sari” Were sung by famous singer Anurag Kulkarni and “Whattey Beauty” by Dhanunjay and Amala Chebolu and the last song “Super Cute” was sung by Nakash Aziz. Mahati Swara Sagar has composed for Nartanasala in 2018 and he is now with Bheeshma. The film is initially is scheduled to be released on the occasion of Christmas 2019 and later postponed to 21st February 2020.
Previous releases of Nithiin had a bad run at the box office. So he took his time to give a good film for his fans. After a gap of 2 years, he is again at the box office to entertain with his comedy genre film Bheeshma. Rashmika Mandanna’s previous film “Sarileru Neekevvaru was a blockbuster at the box office.
The first teaser was released on Trivikram Srinivas’s birthday revealing the release date and the Official trailer was published on 17th February 2020 by Haarika and Hassine Creations.
