Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be planning on spending the Christmas holiday with the royal family, author Katie Nicholl told Closer. The relationship between the Sussexes has been turbulent, due to Oprah Winff’s March interview. However, Nicholl thinks that a Christmas visit could help to heal the rift. “Christmas is being looked at as an opportunity. There may be a softening, which could pave the way for a healing of the family rift,” Closer was informed by her. “It’s certainly what the Queen wants. Prince Charles would like to see his grandchildren. A meet-up suggests they hope to move on and sort things out,” She also added.
Even if Harry and Meghan don’t make it to the UK to celebrate Christmas, it is possible that they will be there for the queen’s platinum jubilee in June 2022. According to Elle, the queen has extended an invitation to the Sussex family, but it’s unclear if they plan on being in attendance.
