The selection list of Andhra Pradesh Grama or Ward Volunteer Interview will be out on Thursday, 1st August 2019 for different districts of the state. The candidates can check their name in the list at the official portal, i.e., gramavolunteer.ap.gov.in.

The State Government of Andhra Pradesh recently invited applications from the candidates for filling 4 lakhs Grama Volunteer posts. The candidates who were interested as well as eligible for the Grama Volunteer post filled the application form in the months of June and July as per the scheduled application dates. The application process has already begun on 24th June and will come to an end on 5th July. Subsequently, the interview and document verification process will be held from 11th July to 25th July, on the basis of which the selection of the candidates will take place. The interview will be held by the Selection Committee consisting of MPDO/ Tasildhar/ EO (PR&RD).

After completion of all the processes, the AP Grama Volunteer Result will be announced on 1st August and the merit list will also be released. On the same day, the selected candidates will be sent an intimation letter. They will then have to undergo training in grama volunteer works for 6 days, i.e., from 5th August to 10th August, for performing their grama volunteer duties.

While the recruitment process is underway, the Andhra Pradesh Government has prioritized women candidates to recruit for Grama Volunteer posts, thus focusing on women empowerment. According to the former announcement, 50% of total posts will be offered to women candidates.

How to check AP Grama Volunteer Merit List 2019

  1. Candidates have to visit the official portal, gramavolunteer.ap.gov.in.
  2. Login with the credentials such as user id, password.
  3. Now, tap on ‘AP Grama Volunteer Merit List 2019’ link on the homepage.
  4. The selection list will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Check your name and take a printout of it for further reference.
